Applications can be submitted on or after November 1st, 2024 and will remain open until 9:30 AM on February 3, 2025. The application system is on Eastern time, so it will close at 9:29 AM Eastern time
Only complete applications will be reviewed, which must include:
- Personal and educational profile questions within the online application.
- Personal statement outlining your research experience (if applicable), what makes you an outstanding candidate for the program and how participation will assist your career goals.
- Transcripts for each post-secondary institution you have attended. Official and unofficial transcripts are acceptable. Documents must include Fall 2024 grades.
- Two letters of recommendation: Supply contact information for your recommenders in the online application. They will be e-mailed instructions for uploading their letters. It is your responsibility to ensure they received this message. You can monitor the status of your letters via the application portal.
Please be ready to answer the following essay questions:
For one or more of your research experiences, describe your project and specific contributions to the work and what you have learned that will make you an outstanding candidate for this program. If discussing research, please explain the rationale for and hypothesis of the project and any results and conclusions from your experiments. If you do not have any research experience, please describe what attracts you to research, the research you are interested in conducting (and why) and what skills you possess that will make you an outstanding candidate for this program.
Provide a one or two sentence summary of your educational and career goals. How do you see this summer program helping you to fulfill your goals?
Please provide any additional information that you feel would be useful to the admissions committee in evaluating your application. These can include exceptional accomplishments, obstacles, special challenges or instances where you demonstrated independence, the ability to balance multiple demands or leadership.

Acceptance notifications: Last week of February, 2025
Students will be selected for their demonstrated interest in neuroscience, enthusiasm for graduate study in a neuroscience-related field and their academic performance to date.
Program Dates: May 26, 2025 – August 2, 2025 Students will arrive on campus on Sunday, May 25, participate in our Closing Symposium on Friday, August 1, and return home on that evening or on Saturday, August 2nd.
