2023 Online Application: Opens November 1, 2022. The application system is on Eastern time, so it will close at 11:59 PM Eastern time on February 3 (with midnight being 2/4).

The summer research application can be found here. Applications can be submitted on or after November 1st, 2022 and will remain open until midnight on February 3, 2023. Only complete applications will be reviewed, which must include:

  • Personal and educational profile questions within the online application.
  • Personal statement outlining your research experience (if applicable), what makes you an outstanding candidate for the program and how participation will assist your career goals.
  • Transcripts for each post-secondary institution you have attended. Official and unofficial transcripts are acceptable. Documents must include Fall 2022 grades.
  • Two letters of recommendation: Supply contact information for your recommenders in the online application. They will be e-mailed instructions for uploading their letters. It is your responsibility to ensure they received this message. You can monitor the status of your letters via the application portal.

Application deadline: February 3, 2023

Acceptance notifications: Last week of February, 2023
Students will be selected for their demonstrated interest in neuroscience, enthusiasm for graduate study in a neuroscience-related field and their academic performance to date.

Program Dates: May 28, 2023 – August 4, 2023 Students will arrive on campus on Sunday, May 28, participate in our Closing Symposium on Friday, August 4, and return home on that evening or on Saturday, August 5 (move out of the dorms by 11am).
